Sunny yellow roses
“Sitting in an English garden waiting for the sun…” wrote John Lennon for “I Am the Walrus” in 1967. After a few rainy days, we understand what he meant.
The roses are budding up nicely, but they’re waiting for sun and so are we. Once the weather clears, I’ll be planting some yellow roses. My mother loved yellow roses most of all.
